I admit that since Monday I have made significant progress in the areas of video, Instagram and my website, www.carlarjenkins.com.
I want to start first with IGTV (Instagram TV) because as of this past Friday, Instagram upon initial upload on mobile phone, you can share out your IGTV video to your IG feed. Up until now, you could only share to IG story and Facebook.
Sharing my IGTV videos onto my IG feed quadrupled my views. This is exactly how I want to introduce myself and my IGTV videos to my followers. My IGTV videos also drive traffic to my Instagram page. I have gained over 50 new followers just based on this.

I have continued having major success releasing my all-new work video series. Since last week’s Midweek Review, my videos have been shared on Twitter and Instagram. I have created an all-new video series because I want to show my problem-solving skills. The marketplace positively responds to this. I have uploaded one new video daily since Monday, February 4, 2019. Remember, it takes 7 times for a person to see something in order to make a decision. The fact that people are sharing way before my 7th video is a testament to how strongly they identify with my work video series.

Expanding My Job Search from Facebook Live to Periscope
For the longest Facebook Live has been my primary means of communication regarding my job search. I would go live on Facebook then upload the files onto LinkedIn and YouTube for redistribution. Now I have also included Periscope because it is a lead generator and connected to Twitter.
This past December, I received a LinkedIn Inmail from a recruiter who saw my October 2018 tweet about relocating to Cleveland. Now THAT’s lead generation! Periscope is owned by Twitter where 1) people are already looking to watch videos and care more about the hashtags than if they are following me on Twitter.
